Otto Foerster has been working in the insurance Property & Casualty agent his entire professional life.  Began insurance career in 2006 with HBA Insurance Group, a middle market insurance agency, that his family started in 1932.  HBA was sold to Brown & Brown, national publicly traded insurance broker, in 2008.  Brown & Brown offered a great platform for agents to learn and prosper with all types of risks – Large Real Estate Placements, Medical Mal-Practice, Professional Liability, and Cyber Liability.  In a bid to be an insurance entrepreneur, Otto founded NEA Insurance Group with 2 partners (from HBA) to deliver concierge white glove customer service to the growing clientele that felt bigger brokers are not addressing their specific needs.  NEA Insurance Group is actively looking to acquire other insurance agencies and grow organically from headquarters in Miami, FL. 

Otto focuses on highly technical, hard-to-place Casualty risks geared towards Cyber, TCPA, FCRA, FDCPA, Can-Spam, Debt Collectors, Telemarketers, Online Marketers/Advertisers, and start-up businesses that care about mitigating regulatory risk.  Otto has developed a strong network of CPAs, Attorneys, and Compliance teams to assist with the growing needs in the space.  He speaks the language where most insurance agents do not understand the business model of this specific class of business. 

Other insurance passion for Otto, loving the difficult to place accounts, is large CAT exposed property insurance for real estate. Keeping a pulse on the Property market is an important part of Otto’s daily conversations - if he’s not too busy on-boarding a new Online Marketer with claims.

When not working on insurance, Otto has enjoys time with his wife, Mariana, and 2 daughters (Amelia – Age 7 & Elena – Age 4).
